HARR is the local Reconciliation Group for Indigenous and non-Indigenous residents of the Hornsby area.

We work locally to raise awareness and advance Reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous residents, advocate for social justice and promote an appreciation of First Nations history, culture and heritage.

Our objectives include:

  • Provide opportunities for exchange of information on issues relevent to the cause of Reconciliation

  • Create opportunities for sharing knowledge, resources and expertise

  • Lobby and advocate for recognition and social justice for First Nations Peoples

  • Encourage in the local community:

    • An understanding of the rights and contribution of First Nations Peoples

    • An appreciation of First Nations cultures

    • A celebration of the presence of First Nations Peoples in our community.
